This is an original 1894 halftone print showing the Foreign buildings at the Chicago World's Fair, which include Haiti, Brazil, Colombia and Costa Rica. The Brazil building is designed in French Renaissance architecture. It is cruciform and contains columns and capitals on all four facades, w hich are of the Corinthan order. There are four campaniles at the angles, each with an open observatory seventy feet from the ground level.
