This makes the board ideal for catching a lot of waves. Which works out well with the North Sea because the waves are a bit weaker. In terms of bottom contours (hollows shape on the bottom of the board) this board has a single concave to double concave to vee. This makes the board go nice and fast, allowing you to surf past ugly sections of the wave:
